The coronavirus pandemic has thrown lives, work, and jobs into disarray. On the other hand, many firms have opted to combat the virus by adopting newer business models. Companies worldwide have adopted work from home as a long-term option for their workers, even after the pandemic has passed. There are many companies that are offering wonderful working rules for the employees.

These are the large companies and organizations that are defining many job positions to work from home permanently.

 

1. Infosys

According to the business daily, Infosys’ head of HR, Richard Lobo, believes that talent models will shift in the future, with a combination of full-time workers working from offices as in the past and a mix of employees opting for partial or full remote working. Currently, 97 percent of Infosys workers work remotely.

 

2. Facebook

Facebook is one of the most valuable private companies in the world. In the next five to ten years, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, has said that up to half of his company’s employees will be able to operate from home.

 

3. Twitter

Twitter was the first organization to enable workers to work from home full-time. However, the organization did not define which positions would be eligible for work-from-home.

 

4. Wipro And Tech Mahindra

Wipro and Tech Mahindra have implemented a hybrid workplace model, which allows employees to work from home and visit physical offices on specific days.

 

5. Schneider

Schneider recently launched a new global standard for hybrid working, which combines home and office work. Schneider’s latest working model requires a third of a team to be present in the workplace. Rachna Mukherjee, chief HR officer for Schneider Electric India and South Asia, told ET that in 2020 that the perceptions about jobs, work-life, and workspace will be questioned and transformed, and there will be no going back to the way we used to work.
