2 Amrit Bharat, 6 Vande Bharat Express Trains Launched By PM Modi; Check Routes And Timings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the Ayodhya Dham railway station on Saturday. Six trains, comprising two Amrit Bharat trains and six Vande Bharat trains, were launched by the prime minister from the railway stations. A significant advancement in the nation’s high-speed rail system has been made with the launch of these new Vande Bharat routes. These semi-high-speed trains aim to improve efficiency and communication between different areas.

Train 15557 leaves Darbhanga every Monday and Thursday at 3:00 PM, and takes 21 hours and 35 minutes to arrive at the Anand Vihar Terminal station in Delhi at 12:35 PM the following day.

Ayodhya Dham, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh Junction, Anand Vihar Terminal, Bairgania, Raxaul, Narkatiyaganj, Bagha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, and Kamtul are among the stops along the way.

Train 15558, Anand Vihar-Darbhanga, is the return train. Amrit Bharat Express leaves every Tuesday and Friday at 3:10 PM and travels for twenty hours and forty minutes to reach Darbhanga the next day at 11:50 PM.

Furthermore, features of the new train include two guard cabins, eight unreserved second-class cars, and twelve sleeper-class coaches. Numerous passenger-friendly features are included in this, including illuminated floor strips, cushioned luggage racks, semi-permanent couplers between coaches for jerk-free rides, sealed gangways, mobile charging stations, and holders for smartphones next to each seat.

Ticket cost: Since it hasn’t been posted on the IRCTC website, the exact ticket cost for the Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat Express is currently unknown.

  • In 8 hours and 20 minutes, train number 22426 Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express will leave.
  • Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal at 6:10 AM and arrive at Ayodhya Cantt station at 2:30 PM.
  • The train will make stops at Lucknow and Kanpur Central on its itinerary.
  • The Ayodhya Cantt station will be the departure point for train number 22425 Ayodhya-Anand Vihar.
  • Vande Bharat Express will depart at 3:20 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 PM, taking 8 hours and 20 minutes.
  • With the exception of Wednesday, the train will run every day of the week.
  • Regular service for the Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express train number 22425/22426 will start on January 4, 2024.
