A screenshot of his earnings and the number of deliveries he made in a week was shared by the agent. He had been working as a Zepto delivery agent for 40 hours a week. From September 20 to October 5, he fulfilled 387 orders during the week, averaging about Rs 3,000 every day.
A Zepto delivery agent from Bengaluru posted his weekly earnings on social media, and the post quickly gained popularity. The Reddit user shared a screenshot showing that he worked a 12-hour shift from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and made Rs 21,000 each week.
Zepto Partner Shares Real Earnings

“What I earned in a week (working morning 10 am to night 10 pm) as Zepto delivery,” he captioned his post. Although not all of the days have been captured in the screenshot, certain values were highlighted.
The user provided information about his 40th week, September 29 to October 5. According to the snapshot, on October 2, October 4, and October 5, the total earnings were Rs 3,749.4, Rs 3,379.9, Rs 2,460.3, and Rs 4,020.3, respectively.
While some Reddit users commended the agent’s effort, others questioned the authenticity of the earnings. The agent explained that his pay fluctuates based on demand and weather and that he occasionally receives surge bonuses during wet or busy times.
Delivery Agent Reveals Real Weekly Profit
“Well done, that’s some hard work,” a person said. “How much would be the net profit after all deductions from the Rs 21,000? For instance, gasoline would be a major expense.”
The agent replied, “On a completely different week, I worked for just three days and made Rs 12,000 with just Rs 600–700 petrol because two out of those three days, it rained non-stop from evening 6 to night 11–12.”
The agent said, “Rs 300 for petrol daily, so that’s Rs 2,100 for petrol and no further deductions.” His weekly net profit after subtracting the cost of petrol was about Rs 18,900 each week.
He also discussed how daily revenues can be impacted by the weather. “What’s preferable is rain,” he added, “but not heavy rain — just light rain that lasts for a long time, which is when we get a rain surge. In a different week, I worked only three days and earned Rs 12,000 with only Rs 600–700 worth of petrol because it rained non-stop from 6 PM to 11 PM on two of those three days. It was only a drizzle, not a lot of rain, which you would barely notice if you were wearing rain gear.”
