The list of most admired men and women by YouGov is out. According to an annual study by YouGov, internet-based market research and data analytics firm headquartered in the UK, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the world’s most admired Indian. This survey was conducted through online voting.
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, is the World’s most admired man, followed by the former US President Barack Obama. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is the only Indian politician in the list.
No Indian sportsperson and businessman has made it to the list of most admired men.
The other Indians are Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, and Salman Khan on the list of Top 20 most admired men list. Amitabh Bachchan is at 12, Shahrukh Khan is at 16 and Salman Khan at 18. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan climbs 3 places up and he is at 17.
Talking about women, this year it’s Michelle Obama who topped the list replaced Angelina Jolie from the previous year. There are five new faces in this year list of top 20 most admired women. Oprah Winfrey is also one position ahead from the previous year and she is second this year.
Around 12 females in the list are actresses, singers, television presenters. While men list has mostly politicians, women have mostly entertainers.
Talking about Indian women, a total of four Bollywood actress who made it to the list of Top 20 most admired women in the list. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sushmita Sen, and Aishwarya Rai are in the top 20 most admired women list. You can also check the list of most admired people of 2018.
