Fabulous Journey Of iPhone From 1st To 7th Series

 

Seems Apple has been competing with itself from the time Steve Jobs Introduced iPhone to the world.

We all know how Steve jobs took technology ahead with his idea of iPhone. Steve Jobs said at the time of iPhone 1 Launch,

iPhone as a combination of three devices: a "widescreen iPod with touch controls"; a "revolutionary mobile phone"; and a "breakthrough Internet communicator"

On the eve of iPhone 7 launch we present you the iPhone series from the time it took birth.

It’s really incredible how it’s been coping up with the tastes of the customers and meeting the challenges in the business world.

 

1. iPhone 1st Generation/iPhone 2G

It was released in 2007 with storage variations 4/8/16 GB and 3.5 inches touch screen with weight 135 g and camera 2 MP with battery stand-by up to 250 h and talk time up to 8 h. With stunning display and an innovative multi touch user interface, it attracted more than 6.1 million customers all over the world. However, it lacks some basic features like stereo Bluetooth support, 3G compatibility which are easily found in many cell phones.

It’s currently discontinued.

 

2. iPhone 2nd Generation/iPhone 3G

iPhone 3G released in 2008 comes with 3.5 inches touch screen, storage capacity 8/16 GB and weight 133 g. But the problem is no memory card slot. However, Primary camera came with 2 MP and a battery stand-by up to 300 h and talk time up to 10 h. For music lovers, it’s a treat as it’s battery stand-by up to 24 h. It supports high-speed 3G networks, several other third-party applications and expanded e-mail. Its call quality is improved and it continues to deliver an excellent music and video experience. The main drawback is battery depletes quickly under heavy use, but the iPhone 3G is a big improvement over the original model.

3. iPhone 3rd Generation/iPhone 3GS

iPhone 3GS released in 2009 comes with 3.5 inches touch screen, storage in variations of  8/16/32 GB and primary camera 3.15 MP with features like Geo-tagging, touch focus which was not seen in iPhone 3G. However, it has an amazing battery stand-by up to 300 h, talk time up to 12 h if it’s 2G and 5h if it’s 3G, music play up to 30 h. The one distinguished feature from the previous series is it meets the promised battery life, adds common cell phone features like multimedia messaging, video recording, and voice dialing. However, no flash light, USB transfer and storage, or multitasking.

It’s currently discontinued.

 

4. iPhone 4

Apple iPhone 4 smartphone with 3.50-inch display alongside 512MB RAM and 5-megapixel rear camera released in the market in 2010. Battery stand-by up to 300 h and talk time up to 14 h, where if you play music it comes up to 40 h. Even though it’s very old, Apple's iPhone 4 remains a fantastic device. The one problem is no expandable storage.

It’s available in the market.

 

5. iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S released in 2011 comes with a 3.50-inch touchscreen, with price starting from Rs. 14000. The Apple iPhone 4S packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. For this too, no microsd card and no flash support.

 

6. iPhone 5

You can sum up the iPhone 5 in three words, taller, slimmer and lighter. Apple iPhone 5 smartphone with 4.00-inch 640×1136 display powered by 1.3GHz processor alongside 1GB RAM and 8-megapixel rear camera comes with battery stand-by up to 225 h and music play up to 40 h.

 

7.iPhone 5C

This particular iPhone is very peculiar as it came in wide variety of colors. The iPhone 5C is a cheaper alternative to the iPhone 5S and marks the first time that Apple has changed its mobile line-up with 4-inch 1,136 x 640 pixel IPS screen and 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. Whereas storage capacity is 16/32GB with battery stand-by up to 250 h and music play up to 40 h.

 

8. iPhone 6

Launched in 2014, iPhone 6 certainly addresses a number of the problems Apple had developed. It came with size 4.7 inches, a boosted processor, better camera, battery stand-by up to 250 h and music play up to 50 h.

 

9. iPhone 6 Plus

iPhone 6 Plus too launched in 2014 featuring a stunning 5.5–inch Retina HD display, amazing cameras, and many advanced features. More importantly its battery stand-buy time is up to 384 h. Where talk time stand-by is up to 24 h and music play up to 80 h.

 

10. iPhone 6S

Apple iPhone 6s smartphone was launched in September 2015. The phone comes with a 4.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 750 pixels by 1334 pixels at a PPI of 326 pixels per inch. Apple iPhone 6s price in India starts from Rs. 42997.

 

11. iPhone 6S Plus

The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with 2GB of RAM which was launched in September 2015. The phone supports up to 16GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Battery performance is just like iPhone 6S.

 

12. iPhone SE

The iPhone SE is Apple's new 4-inch iPhone which looks similar to an iPhone 5s, but has iPhone 6s internal specs. Launched in March 2016, the phone comes with storage variations 16/64 GB. The iPhone SE can shoot 4K video and capture 63-megapixel panoramas, and it can take Live Photos, but there is no 3D Touch support.

 

13. iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus

Let’s welcome Apple’s latest smartphone iPhone 7 that launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 60,000 for the new 32GB base storage model which is water resistant.

The iPhone 7 comes with a 4.7-inch display and  32GB/ 128GB/ 256GB storage options. In terms of camera, the Apple iPhone 7 sports a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies. As usual, Apple has not revealed iPhone 7 RAM and mAh value of the iPhone 7 battery.

iPhone 7 Plus is similar to the iPhone 7 in terms of specifications but it comes with a bigger 5.5-inch 1080p display and it packs dual 12-megapixel sensors on the rear where as storage same as that of iPhone 7.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will also be available to customers in India beginning Friday, October 7.
