Day 11, FIFA 2018: Japan And Senegal Draws, England And Colombia Wins

After exciting matches from the previous day, Day 11 had three matches lined up. They were England Vs Panama, Japan Vs Senegal and Poland Vs Colombia. Here are the summaries of the matches which went down on Day 11. Read on.

 

England Vs Panama

The match was held at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. This was the teams first ever encounter. England was quick to take the lead as they scored one on the 8th minute. John Stones scored the first goal giving England a 1 – 0 lead. Following him, Harry Kane scored a penalty goal. Soon, Jesse Lingard scored the third goal making it 3 – 0. John Stones struck out at the 40th minute and made it 4 – 0.

Another penalty goal for England by Harry Kane making it 5 – 0 at the halftime. England led Panama by 5 goals at halftime. This was a historic match indeed. At the 62nd minute, they scored another one making it 6 – 0 as Harry Kane landed another goal. Despite the huge lead by England, Panama kept fighting and Felipe Baloy scored a goal making it 6 – 1. It was a splendid win for England with a 6 -1 score.

 

Japan Vs Senegal

The match was held at Ekaterinburg Arena. Senegal scored first at the 11th minute as Sadio Mane gave the lead to their team by turning the ball past the goalkeeper. Following that, Takashi Inui scored one for Japan making the score 1 – 1. The score was 1 – 1 during halftime. Senegal steered towards the lead as Moussa Wague scored a goal for Senegal making it 1 – 2. Japan fought back and Keisuke Honda scored a goal leveling the score. The match ended as a draw with 2 – 2 score.

 

Poland Vs Colombia

The match took place at Kazan Arena. Colombia took the lead at the 40th minute as Yerry Mina scored one for the team. The score at halftime was 0 – 1. The scored another goal as Radamel Falcao scored the second goal at the 70th minute. It was soon followed by Juan Cuadrado’s third goal which gave Colombia a clean win with a 3 – 0 score.
