A birthday brings out the creative side in people. Some buy flowers, others plan dinner dates. But one guy took things to another level by dressing up as a Swiggy Instamart delivery agent just to get past his girlfriend’s building security and to surprise her on her birthday.
The Surprise Birthday Plan
Digital creator Aarav Mavi posted a video showing his friend trying to surprise his girlfriend on her birthday. The problem? She lives with her family in a gated society, making it tough to show up unannounced.
So he spotted a Swiggy Instamart delivery guy outside the building and asked for help.
Boyfriend Borrowed The Swiggy Instamart Uniform

Aarav says in the video, “He is talking to a delivery driver, asking him to give his T-shirt and helmet so that he can enter the society, as his girlfriend lives there with her family.”
The boyfriend told the driver, “If you do this favor today, we will be really grateful to you.”
The delivery guy agreed. He handed over his T-shirt and helmet, and the boyfriend put them on immediately.
The Long Wait
Wearing the uniform, he went straight to her apartment. But then came the tricky part: she couldn’t come to the door. Aarav shares, “He has been standing outside for the past 15 to 20 minutes; he even called his girlfriend and messaged her, but whether she is coming out or not, we don’t know.”
Imagine standing there in a borrowed uniform, holding a cake, and hoping your girlfriend actually opens the door. The suspense was real.
The Surprise Works
Finally, she opened the door. Her reaction said it all — her boyfriend, dressed as a delivery agent, was standing there with a birthday cake. They celebrated right outside her apartment, blowing out candles and cutting the cake. Mission accomplished.
Internet Loves It
The video blew up online. People couldn’t stop talking about it. Swiggy Instamart jumped in with a comment: “Brocode.” One person wrote, “Imagine her parents watching this video.” Another commented, “Please never break his heart.”
People praised both the boyfriend’s creativity and the delivery guy’s willingness to help. Sometimes it felt like a scene straight from a romantic comedy movie.
Instead of spending money or planning an elaborate party, it was just a guy with a creative idea and a delivery agent kind enough to help a stranger. The delivery partner deserves credit, too. He could have easily said no and moved on with the delivery. Instead, he took a few minutes to create someone’s special moment.
The birthday surprise went viral because it was real and relatable. No fancy setups, no professional photography — just a guy trying to make his girlfriend smile on her birthday. We needed this wholesome content. Between all the negative news and drama we see, someone putting in effort to make their partner happy hits differently.
